I suspect 3 Nf6 is blacks best Thanks for all the advice, I now see this opening is clearly inferior to others if black gets in an early d5. I still won the game though =p. Once again, the first couple moves were (I was black) 1. e4 c5 (sicilian defense(. 2. e5?! Nc6. I forget what happened from there. Only a Black playing on auto-pilot would bring the N out to f6 against this move. g4 permanently deprives White of the chance to cover f4 or h4 with a pawn. This suggests Black should bring the KN out to g6 instead (via e7) so that it eyes both those potentially weak squares, possibly after 2Bc5 and moves
